The central pillar is like the celestial hub of the Taoist temple, using five types of wealth talismans instead of statues, which coincides with the profound wisdom of the "Great Silence" in the "Tao Te Ching".
The roof ridge of the temple incorporates the flying eaves and upturned corners characteristic of traditional Chinese architecture. The flying eaves soar like the cries of cranes reaching the heavens, and eight sturdy beams support the cosmic order. On the top, the eight trigrams are engraved to define the four cardinal directions, while on the bottom, the eight immortals are depicted to respond to the arrivals from all directions. The entire temple stands on a lotus pedestal, grand and solemn. The base is adorned with flames as a symbolic representation of the "Satori Fire", and the knots and streamers sway among them, as if the incense smoke continues to flow endlessly.
The core of the design is not merely decoration; instead, it integrates the concepts of Taoist ritual objects into modern accessories. It is named "Wan Cai Dian" and is itself a miniature Taoist temple that can be carried around. Every detail - lotus flowers, talismans, the eight-sided body of the temple, and the five-sided roof - are not isolated aesthetic elements but cultural symbols carrying specific Taoist beliefs and feng shui meanings. The aim is to keep the wearer constantly connected with Taoist wisdom and the protection of deities.
In terms of design, the designer skillfully extracts and modernizes the solemnity and majesty of traditional Chinese palace architecture (such as the eaves and the roof), making it retain the classical sacredness while also conforming to contemporary aesthetics.
